FAQ
How the process
actually runs
Straight answers, no sales fog.
Can we start in the middle — say, we already have designs?
+
Yes. The four phases are a default, not a turnstile. If Strategy and Design are done, we run a short audit to confirm the scope is buildable, then drop straight into Build. The same goes for joining at Launch & grow on an existing product — you only pay for the phases you actually need.
How long does each phase take?
+
Strategy is usually 1–2 weeks, Design 2–4, and a first production-ready Build lands around weeks 4–10 depending on scope. Launch & grow is ongoing for as long as it’s useful. These are real ranges from real projects, not padding — we give you a fixed estimate once scope is clear.
How involved do we need to be?
+
Heavily in Strategy and Design — that’s where your context is irreplaceable. During Build it’s light: a 30-minute Friday demo and async feedback through the week. We’re built to move without waiting on you, but we never ship a direction you haven’t seen.
What do we actually hand over at the end?
+
Everything. The repository, the infrastructure, the accounts and the documentation — all in your name from day one. Any developer can pick it up. There’s no proprietary platform to keep paying for and no source code held hostage.
Is it fixed price or ongoing?
+
Once scope is clear after Strategy, we quote a fixed price for the Build — you know the number up front. Launch & grow runs as a monthly rolling engagement you can scale or stop anytime. No mandatory retainer.
Where exactly does AI fit — is it just hype?
+
Two concrete places. Internally it speeds up research, scaffolding, tests and refactors, so you’re paying for senior judgement rather than typing. And in the product itself we build AI features where they earn their place — copilots, RAG search, automations — always measured and reviewed.
